We continue with the icy saga today, this time from Judy Byykkonen with scenes from her home in Laurium. That’s her daughter’s car in the first two photos, which she says is “frozen in time”. That’s definitely an icy coating on it. I know my hubby had to pour water over the doors and mirrors of his plow truck, just to get in and be able to see out of the mirrors while trying to plow the mess we had.

Judy’s remaining photos show the bushes around her house completely coated with ice, too. If you don’t have to go out in weather like this and if you didn’t lose power because of the heavy ice coatings pulling down wires or toppling trees, then it’s actually quite pretty.

Scott Willey, Jr. shares a short video of his son having fun with the aftermath of the ice storm in Ishpeming. Might as well make the best of it and have a few laughs, too.

Nice ice pix! And a breakthrough video.

That video was a "laugh out loud" moment.
Thanks for the morning chuckle.

These ice photos are quite pretty but I
didn't go out at all. I've had enough, lol.

It was time to get away so this week we're
spending down on the Gulf. We always drive
so we take in a lot of scenery. The Mackinac
Bridge was shut down due to falling ice. It
was the 2nd day in a row. But who minds
being holed up in St Ignace?

The drive down is always wonderful, as you
see that temperature start rising the
further south you go. The way home is just
the opposite, lol. But I hear we're missing
some storms so I'm good with that.

Simple beauty.

I love the kid blowing through the ice. That's
fantastic. lol

Wow, and now more ice to hit most of Michigan in the next couple days. Take care Pasty friends and be safe out there!

Beautiful, yet ice can be so very much destructive.

Hilarious video.
