The Pasty Cam is in quadruplicate today! Four rainbows, by four different photographers. These rainbow shots were all taken on the same day last week, after a dandy rain, lightning, thunder and high wind storm blew through the Keweenaw quickly. It didnít last long and the rainbows were what we were left with afterwards.
George C. Bailey captured the first rainbow here today, on the north shore of the Keweenaw Peninsula overlooking Lake Superior at Dans Point in Eagle Harbor Township. You donít often see a double rainbow with sunbeams.
The next shot was snapped by Cathy Witz, with the rainbow arching over the top of the Gay Smokestack. Perfect positioning in this shot!
Number three was taken by Tina Jeffery on the shores of Lake Superior. Iím not certain, but it looks like it could be out at Big Traverse, on the sandy side of the beaches.
The final rainbow picture is from the Traprock Valley, taken by Jean Dessellier. You can see how brightly the sun came out after the storm, making the rainbow and putting a glow on the trees, too!
To top off the photos today, we have 20 seconds of calm after the storm, from Steve Brimm over at Steve Brimm Photography. Looks like he recorded this in the Harbor, near the Harbor Haus. Volume up, so you can hear the lapping water sounds.

They say every rainbow is a double rainbow...I see
double in almost everyone of these pics and video.
Except the 4th one, which probably has a double,
but it's cropped.
