Peace in the morning, a great way to start any day. Thanks to Taana Blom we have a series of morning shots from her Chassell area home across from the Lower Entry Lighthouse. The sun coming up in the consecutive photos is quite beautiful, as it rises over the treeline and the clouds on the horizon. It starts with a subtle coloring of the sky, then the brightness peeks over the clouds and gradually adds a golden color to the snow and ice. It doesn’t get much better than this.

We’re back on the road with E.Neil Harri, this time taking a ride through Kearsarge, starting just before the Hut and the Pasty Central Kitchens and office behind the Restaurant.

Seeing those high snowbanks in Neil's video reminded me of a time I was driving back to the coast guard station (the old one next to McLain) in my 1966 Cutlass, and lost control. No problem tho -- bounced off those snowbanks on both sides of the road and just continued on my way. No damage either!

Exactly. And likewise, back in my days at da Tech, the snowbanks on the sides of the downhill city streets in "Beautiful Downtown Burbank", er … Houghton also served nicely as "Emergency Brakes"!
