A Walk Through The Clouds Watch Your Step, The First Ones A Doozy. The Cut Between Houghton And Hancock Fills With Fog Periodically And The Portage Lake And Canal Become A Place Where Angels Might Dwell. But Then Again The U.P. Is A Little Slice Of Heaven.

Great description, actually, one that I can’t improve upon.

So, instead of adding more words, I’ll just add this video from Keweenaw National Historical Park giving us an almost live view of dense fog on the Portage Canal. It’s a phenomenon that happens several times a year. Who thought fog could be so fascinating...

pictures of the bridge a few years ago. But
