Melanie Hakala Rossi and friends are at it once again, strapping on their snowshoes and heading out to snowy adventures. This weekend they were in the Jacobsville area and on the shores of Lake Superior, where they found some interesting ice sculptures created by the wind and waves of the Big Lake. That first photo sure is inviting, with the sun shining on their snowshoe tracks. It was a beautiful day to get out there and play!

The video today comes from Great Getaways, filmed in the Munising area. They needed snowshoes to explore there, too!

Our weather here in the Copper Country looks to be quiet for the Christmas holiday, which is a blessing for those that are traveling this time of year. Wishing you all a peaceful Christmas Eve.
