The folks in Mohawk know how to do up Christmas right. Marcy Bessolo Hermanson was there at the Mohawk School, along with Santa, Mrs. Santa, Baby Jesus and some serious looking cookie decorators recently. Kids in the area spent the afternoon filling Santa’s ear with special gifts and treats they’d like him to bring on Christmas Eve. Then they were given the opportunity to dress up and have their photo taken with Baby Jesus in the Manger, compliments of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Mohawk. And finally, there were cookies, frosting and trimmings for the little ones to decorate their own Christmas cookies. Talk about a perfectly rounded way to celebrate this upcoming special day.

I always thought that Xmas day was started by Cheech and Chong, they even wrote a story about it called "Santa Claus and His Old Lady".
