Yesterday, Chad Johnson took us to Pictured Rocks, but on his journey there, he also stopped and captured the beauties that blanket the woods this time of year, wild Trilliums. He got in so close and personal, it feels like we’re right there on the forest floor with them. Did you know that the Trillium is named as such because there are a number of threes with them, three leaves, three flower petals and three stamen, too. Interesting…

Our second photo comes from Barbara Robbins and her Wakefield yard. Correct me if I’m wrong on identifying these colorful blooms, but they look like phlox bordering her property. So pretty as they grow all around the rocks and grass.

The Northshore brings us a slideshow treat of Michigan wildflowers from around the state. So much beauty in nature, we need to get out there and enjoy it all.

Just had a follow up after my cardio-ablation. Doctor says the new EKG shows the atrial flutter was cured by the procedure.
