The fall colors are more muted now, with much of the brighter colors having been blown off the trees. That holds true for the archive shots and currently here in the Keweenaw. Back in 2006, Betsy Ely found some recently fallen leaves hung up in this little river waterfall. She snapped this one on the Carp River in Marquette County. I like the way the leaves seem to be just suspended there in the water.
