We're well into our 20th year here on the Pasty Cam now, as we continue to look back in the archives at photos that we've shared throughout the years. We've featured countless numbers of birds at birdfeeders, but feathered friends aren't the only ones that enjoy the seeds we put out in the feeders. Today we look back to 2005, where Ellen Campbell had a black bear dining on her Traprock Valley feeders. It looks like it's quite comfortable sitting there snacking on sunflower seeds. At least at this point in the photo, it hadn't torn down and destroyed the feeder yet.

The second photo, snapped by Tanya Voldarski back in 2006, shows who is supposed to be sitting there enjoying the bird treats. In this case it's a beautiful Baltimore Oriole. They go for the nectar, but also like slices of oranges and grape jelly, too. I'm sure the bears would like those same treats.

The bottom photo was snapped by Bob Gilreath's game camera that he set up to see who was visiting his bird feeding station during the night. The shot is a bit blurred, since Momma bear and her two cubs were moving when the camera snapped, but Bob was surprised to see not one bear visiting, but three! If the bears are tearing your feeders down this time of year, just take them down for awhile and the bears will move on to greener pastures, probably your neighbor's feeders.

Finally, today’s video catches another Northern Michigan threesome in another backyard raid.

If you haven't done so, you NEED to head to
Newberry and Oswald's Bear Ranch!

I knew Dean before the Ranch, and I got to hold
a bear cub...holy wha...talk about one cool
experience! It was little, in a pamper, drinking
a baby bottle, and he handed it to me and it
snuggled in like a human baby...so adorable. If
you hit there in the Spring...you can take pics
with the cubs.....phenomenal!

Wow...and I thought squirrels were a problem.

No bears is one thing that attracts me to Isle Royale for great camping and hiking.

Looked like a great sunset tonight.
