Today is Veterans Day, a federal holiday here in the United States, set aside to honor all who have served our country in the U.S. military. Donna MacIntosh provides us with a beautiful shot of Old Glory to say THANK YOU to all these brave men and women, who took time out of their lives to serve our country and protect our freedoms.

Donna's remaining photos, showing late fall here UP North are equally beautiful and have a calming effect to head into the weekend with. I especially love the "UP a tree" shot. One of Donna's larger feeding station visitors decided to fly UP and roost in a tree nearby. Not a sight you often see around here

Thank you to all veterans who have served honorably in the armed forces, especially my father and ancestors.
