If you live here UP North, then you know that a drive to check out the Autumn colors is in order this time of year. That's exactly what Elaine Robbins and her hubby Kim did a little over a week ago, for a mini tour of the Keweenaw where the colors usually shine. Looking at today's shots, they weren't disappointed on their journey.

They started out at the Cliff Drive with a great view of the rocky top of the cliffs, accented by the color cascading down the bluff. While snapping photos there, Elaine spotted what she thinks was an immature bald eagle watching her, so of course she quickly snagged a photo of it posing so perfectly.

From there, they headed over to Central Mine and village to pick a few apples and take in the view there. Then they were off to probably the best viewing location in the Copper Country, Brockway Mountain. The colors were outstanding the day they were there, still bright and bold, decorating the valley below.
Fall is such a beautiful time of year, it's just too bad it speeds by so quickly. Luckily here on the Pasty Cam, we can extend it just a little, by enjoying the colors even after they've faded and started to fall.

The bottom photo comes to us from Sue Haralson from Lake Linden, where she ran into someone hauling two old Sno Jet snowmobiles on a trailer. She thought this would be a good reminder for those that enjoy winter riding, to get busy and tune up your machines since we're just a little over a month away from the trails opening the first of December. Hopefully your machine doesn't have moss growing on it or missing skis like these!

These pictures just show how blessed those in the Keweenaw are! What beautiful views to enjoy every day.

Seems like there has been some time between uses of that one sled!!

Someone please help those old Sno Jets! They look
so pitiful!
