With the Easter Season fresh in our minds and hearts, I thought these first three photos from Sharon Bodenus would be the perfect way to start the week here on the Pasty Cam. Sharon was up before the sun and headed to McCarty Cove in Marquette, to photograph the sunrise there as it brightened up the horizon and the Marquette Lighthouse too. The colors in the changing sky are amazing and the way the light reflects on the sand and remaining ice on the beach is beautiful, also. It's always nice when someone goes out of their way to capture scenes like this that we don't all get to see in person.

Sharon's last photo is a waterfall on Wright St. in Marquette and she said as far as she knows, it doesn't have an official name. After getting a bit more snow again, it made this spot almost magical looking and Sharon photographed it so the water looks as smooth as silk. Winter hasn't loosened its grip on us here UP North yet.
