My first thought when viewing the top photo from Mike Schneider was that it really doesn't get much better than this. He snapped the photo at the edge of Presque Isle Park in Marquette, which he says is one of his favorite spots and I can totally see why. The blue sky and clouds, the blue-green tint in the rolling water, it's a picture of perfection for sure.

Mike's bottom photo is a good reminder to anyone who likes to comb Lake Superior's shores for treasures…it's that time of year to get out there and sift through all the rocks that the winter ice and waves have washed ashore. You never know what gems you'll find!

Gorgeous! One of my all-time favorite places to be. I used to drive UP from Troy, MI and drive back in the same day, just to spend the afternoon there.

Have to agree with Mike and Alex; Presque Isle Park in Marquette is one of my favorite places to be also! Love those beautiful Lake Superior wave-washed rocks!! :-)
