Dear Keweenaw Today readers,

In an effort to increase and promote local knowledge, unity, and tourist interest, we encourage residents and non-residents alike to submit a short opinion column or letter to the editor on any subject related to the Keweenaw Peninsula community or Lake Superior. If possible, please include a photograph of yourself saved in JPEG if sent by email or included with your submission by mail. Additional photos related to the topic can be submitted if you wish.

We ask that you use your real name for these submissions and include a sentence or two to let our readers know who you are and where you live. This can be separate from the column, and we will include the information in an editor’Äôs note.

Initially, we hope to post at least one guest column per week. We at Keweenaw Today know that many readers love our community. Now, let’Äôs tell the world.
