the 23rd annual Pow Wow in Baraga Saturday.
Billy Wilson, Jr., a member of the Lake
Vermillion Singers, one of the visiting drums at
Saturday's Pow-Wow in Baraga, uses the heat of the
fire to dry and tune his drum. He says the heat
makes the drum tighter ’Äì producing a higher, more
resonating sound.
