27th Annual Summer Arts Camp Registration Open
We've begun planning for this year's 27th annual Summer Arts Camp at the Copper Country Community Arts Center, our two one-week sessions for 3rd-6th graders are happening July 30-August 3 and August 6-10, 2012 from 10am-3pm. Campers may sign up for one of the weeks. Camp fee is $100 if students are registered and paid before July 1st. After July 1st, the fee will be $125. Deadline to register is Monday, July 23rd. We'll have more details regarding this year's camp theme by the beginning of June.
Special rate for March! March is Celebrate Youth Arts Month and during this month if you register your child for Summer Arts Camp, the fee is $90 if paid before July 1st. The registration form may be downloaded here.
Also, if you have the means, consider giving to our scholarship program. $50 gives one student in need a 1/2 scholarship.

Book Arts Camp
August 13-17, 10am-3pm
A unique opportunity for students in grades 8-12 to study bookbinding, creative writing, zines & illustration, letterpress printing, paper making and block printing from a team of professional artists. This program is supported through a grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Students should have an interest in the arts or curiosity to learn some of the fine craft behind book arts.
Book Arts Camp fee: Register and pay by July 31st, $65; after July 31st, $80. Please call to register.
