Hi. It has been warm enough for much of January and early February this year, that it is making the statue building parts of Tech's Winter Carnival in Houghton fairly difficult. They aren't hurting so much for lack of snow, as they are hurting for cold enough temperatures to form and shape their structures. You might call it a structural engineering nightmare, perhaps? It will be interesting to see what they manage to build this year, given the conditions UP there. (It is 34 right now on campus, at almost 3 pm.) Good luck Huskies! Hopefully you will get some weather cold enough to be able to work on the statues, form them, and get them to hold together. (Carnival starts on Wed, Feb. 13, and the all-nighter is that night.)
On the other hand, I approve of my lower heating bill this winter here in the Lower Peninsula. We've had several good snowfalls, down here, but they get wiped out by the warmer temperatures in a few days. I'm not complaining: I'm happy about that, for here!

By the way, congratulations on the 'bird', "Maa"! Didn't have to share it this morning.:)
