The Hilltop commands the high ground above L'Anse, a one time logging/sawmill village that curls around the lower tip of Lake Superior's Keweenaw Bay.     L'Anse, along with the surrounding towns in Baraga County now thrives with a growing tourism industry.     The "Sweet Roll" is credited to the Aunt of one of the current owners (back in the 1950's). The Hilltop has remained family owned and operated for more than 40 years.
