the efforts to save this wonderful treasure and provide operational support.
Our annual newsletter will keep you up to date on the progress of the
renovation and restoration.

Renovation Projects:
An engineering study defined the work required to restore and renovate the
building (St Anne's Church) in order to house the exhibits depicting the
cultural and social history of life in a copper mining town. This work has
been separated into five separate projects. Every year we intend to complete
a project or at least a portion of the larger projects. The amount of work
scheduled for each year depends on our annual contributions. If you would
like to contribute additional money with your membership, it can be mailed to
above address.
St Anne's "Open House" hours:
In the summer months the church is open when we have volunteers
available to provide tours and answer questions for guests. If you would like
to volunteer, write us at the address above or email us. We also have a list of
"things to do"on the inside of the church.
So if you are in the Copper Country and would like to help out, please
contact us and we will be very glad to put your
talents to work.
If you are going to be in Calumet and would like to visit the church please
let us know and we will insure someone is available to accommodate your
schedule.
Endowment Fund:
For the long-term operational support of The Keweenaw Heritage Center, an
Endowment Fund has been established through the Keweenaw Community
Foundation. In order to assure the future of the Keweenaw Heritage Center our
goal is to increase the Endowment fund by 8% each year.
