This year's festival features four toris, which will be held at the Finnish American Heritage Center and the First United Methodist Church, both on Quincy Street in Hancock, as well as outdoors, on Saturday, January 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The FAHC will house the "Heikin Tori," which will be vendors selling non-food items. The United Methodist Church will house both the "Heikin Herkut" (Heikki's Food Court) and the "Heikin Käsityöt" (Heikki's Handwork Fair). Some vendors will be set up on or near the Hancock Middle School lawn as well.
Each vendor will be provided a 6-foot table and two chairs. Set up starts at 8 a.m. Space is limited, and first priority will be given to Finnish and Nordic inspired items.
Check this page periodically for updated information.
You must register in advance. A full table costs $25; half tables are available for $15. For information, or to register, e-mail the tori coordinator here.
While browsing the tori, be sure to stop to enjoy the music. A schedule of performers will be posted as soon as it's finalized.
