here in minnesota, we had a day like that. I have a picture that i took that looks almost exactly like this one. it's amazing. looks great!

It was a beautimous day here in Cornell also. For a little while the temp was 50! Can't believe it. But I'll take it. The way the weather people are talking, I'm glad I got my snowblower tire replaced. The darn air wouldn't stay in it anymore. I'll put the wheel back on in the morning. :o)

They are Winterberry. It's kind rare up here, and
grows in marshy areas. If you snip the branches
from the trees in the fall, they truly last all
winter.

Great shot,,, the robin's are back in the Eaton Rapids area, along with the cranes and red wing blackbirds, a sure sign that summer is on the way.
The wild turkeys are acting a little silly, but I guess its the time of year for that too!!
Can't say wer'e crazy about the mud, but that will pass too.

The picture of the winterberries is incredibly beautiful. The picture of the chickadee with a "bad hair day" was great too. I'll be moving to my new home in Sedar Bay on Lake Superior sometime next fall. It's particularly gratifying to see how so many Yoopers find joy and beauty in all the seasons. Ive lived the "city life" since my first year of college at Suomi College (now Finlandia University). Now I hope to take time to "smell the roses" as do so many whose websites I have visited. Your efforts are much appreciated.
