Very overcast right at dawn this morning, but skies have cleared somewhat by the time our daily Pasty Cam shot was uploaded. This is another from Charlie Eshbach, your intrepid Keweenaw Traveler, somewhere deep in the woods of this beautiful Peninsula.

If you have browsed our way from an area of warmer climate, you may not notice a significant detail in the image above. Take a close look at the windows and you'll note that someone has spent time on a ladder, fixing the storm windows in place. This morning the mercury dipped below freezing in parts of the Copper Country.

Winter's comin! I can't wait! I haven't seen a winter with snow for two years. I think that this year will make up for that and a lot of the other winters I've lived through. Gotta love it!

Wondering if "this old house" is back in the woods off Rt. 41 at the Mandan sign?

What a wonderful old house. I would like to live in it for it is much like the one I grew up in.

thanks, josh

p.s. Please let me know how the color tour loads. It may be kind of a big download. We'll see.

I also wonder if it is a house in Mandan that I have photographed in the past. Would the photographer be willing to share with those of us who love the old houses the location of this one??

This house is also photographed on 11/00 - the "ghost" picture.

Look at that window - that's no ghost - it's a reflection.
