We've spent quite a bit of time outdoors this week on the Pasty Cam... and rightly so, it has been a beautiful time here in the U.P. Remember when we shimmied up this tree with Scott Laurie back in the summer? Well, here we are again, working on our tan - er, uh I mean, trying to stay warm. Next time we return here we don't expect to see leaves, but flakes.

Now it may be possible that some of the oak leaves will still be hanging in there well into the winter. However, you're more likely correct about the white stuff. Thanks Scott for being up in the tree for all of us who are too far away to be there ourselves! Like the concept of viewing the seasonal extremes.

The first thing I do in the morning with my first cup of coffee is go to Pasty Cam to see the new picture for the day. I am NEVER disappointed.

Like Helen, I too view Pasty Cam first thing every morning. It helps fill the void of not being in my native Copper Country. This is the first year in very many that we did not make it up there, we went to the UK instead. It was very beutiful and especially Wales. However, I yearn for the UP and will be there next summer. Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures.
