Last night Children of the Keweenaw opened in Calu met, as the Pine Mountain Music Festival continues throughout summer 2001. We are proud to host the opera's website.

The second picture is very relevant to today's subject, appearing on the Pasty Cam last December. The Italian Hall tragedy occurred in similar conditions, only a few blocks from here. In case you missed it a couple of weeks ago, we featured a recounting of the tragedy by Jack Foster in Real Audio

Don't remember the website but I heard Woody Guthrie sing the song "Italian Hall Massacre." Good song, very sad.
