The month of November brings with it a time to be thankful for the blessings in our lives. One of those blessings is the love and caring we share with our family and friends and so today we honor those that have gone on before us, expressing our thankfulness for having had them in our lives. We remember:

"GOOD MORNING",In loving memory of my Grand-Mother,
Cecilia Kowalski, 2/13/1896 - 11/6/1960. My uncle,
Leonard Kowalski,1/20/1926- missing 11/12/1999, He
took off from Crystal Falls airport,he or remains of
his airplane have been found. My uncle, Edward
(Shadow) Kowalski, 7/31/1924-11/6/2011. If you speak
their name they will not be forgotten.

Lovely photos, Sally. Can't decide which I like
best -- the first is great because of the sun pillar
and the vibrant colors make the second one special.

Missing the best dad, my dad, 11/23/15 - 11/23/88. And our sweet and loving Doberman Pinscher, Lucky 4/26/97 - 11/30/07. They both live on in my heart and memories.

Remembering my dear friend's son, Mark Curtice, who went to Heaven last week after a long battle with cancer. Mark was only 25 years old. He was a brave, but very gentle and caring young man, and he is greatly missed.

Mary, I'm glad I checked the Pasty Cam today. My Grandma (Alice) Smith (Mom's mom) passed away Wednesday morning. She was 80. Married 62 years. Died of cancer so thankfully she is no longer suffering. You know my love for sunsets/rises. These are perfect. Beyond perfect actually. Thank you Sally.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephew “The Chief” Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto.
We love and miss you all so much.

In loving memory of all the loved ones who made our lives whole! And Thank You God, for the strength You give us to continue along the road of life.

Beautiful and peaceful pics which help to remind us of the peace and joy that await those who pass on. Though we miss them so very much-they truly are in a better place.

There's another name I'd like to add to this page today. Today I'm remembering Mr. Eugene (Zube) Zuverink, who passed away on Wednesday morning after a short battle with cancer. I met Zube on this very site, and he became one of the most wonderful e-mail buddies a person could ever have. Zube was one of the most caring people I've ever had the pleasure of "knowing" He had a strong sense of what was right and there were very few people that he didn't like. He was a patriot in every sense of the word and once you became his friend, he was always there to lend an ear. The world became a much sadder place for me when Zube became ill, and I will miss him with all my heart. I have also become close with his wife, Pat. She, too, is a wonderful human being whose life has been shattered.

Heaven gained a wonderful soul. Please pray that Pat finds a way to make it through, what will be, some very tough days. I'm so grateful to this site for introducing me to so many people that I can now call a friend. Unfortunately, I've just lost one of them...as have we all. God bless you, Zube. You will be so missed :-(

Remembering Pierce Roberts, a native of Laurium, who died November 22nd in Battle Creek...one of the good guys!

Oh my, Deb, I hate to hear that about 'Zube' ~ and you're right, he was a remarkable man with a great love of country! May GOD comfort his wife, Pat!

Remembering my son, Andy. He passed away to soon at the age of 34 in 1999. His dad, brother, and I miss him everyday.

Remembering my mom, Betty Ravasz. Passed away 13 yrs ago. November 18.

Deb: Thank you for letting us know of Zube's passing--sad as it is.
Zube is with God and will be remembered by many. My prayers are

Remembering Kathryn Ruth Loveless from Cornell, my daughter's mother-in-law. A very nice lady who died from emphysema. Her last couple years were very tough. She's not hurting anymore.

Here is a heartfelt prayer for all of you who have lost loved ones recently -- all so dear to our hearts.

Here is remembering and missing my wife, gone from us in November of 2007. But how life goes on, filled with so many good things. We were blessed to visit with Leslie's wonderful cousins for a couple of hours this afternoon near Cincinnati, a mini family reunion on our way home from Thanksgiving with my Dad and my sister. All are happy and thriving, including two new young cousins we'd never met in person. Life does indeed go on, and today's blessings do indeed soothe some of the pain of our losses.
