Today's happy cherry trees in the first photo, belong to Lindsay White. What a great shot of nature giving us its best in the beauty department. Not only are all those bountiful blossoms pretty, but from what I've heard, when the trees are loaded with blossoms, they should be loaded with cherries later, too. Hopefully, that's true and Lindsay will be able to bake a cherry pie or two!

The next two photos were snapped by Judy Byykkonen, of the flowering crabapple tree in her yard. Beautiful, for sure and it looks like there are so many bright colored blossoms, that you can barely see the branches or the leaves. Amazing color and stunning beauty! Hopefully, Judy's tree will produce plentiful fruit, also, for jelly and feeding the birds.

Apple trees were often planted by Finnish settlers and the apple tree reminds me of that and coincidently my father had a a cherry tree and two apple trees in our yard in Houghton Mi. He was Finnish and the County Extension Agent for MSU so our yard was ablaze with lilacs, peonies and various flowering bushes. It was beautiful as are these pictures.

Cherry trees are always so pretty. Get around the Traverse City area and there are so many there.
This has to be a good growing season.

Loved how there were budding trees everywhere you looked while we were UP there this month. We both commented on how much the trees were in bloom. There's going to be a good crop this year, that's for sure. And you couldn't top the beauty that was all around you.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing!

My ragged apple tree was loaded with blooms this Spring but since I can't walk back there to it anymore, the birds and deer will probably take care of the fruit. Oh well, it won't be wasted.:>

From what I've noticed this spring everything in sight bloomed profusely this year. Must have been the great spring weather especially grand this year. Looking forward to much fruit. All the spring bushes and plants were exceptional this year. What a difference a year makes hey?

This past winter I moved from Michigan to Minnesota, and the blooming trees were outstanding here, too. A brief fierce storm on Sunday stripped most of the petals and took down many old Norway spruce, but I was lucky to capture the blooms with my camera a few hours before the storm hit. Lilacs are still in full bloom; they aren't bothered too much by high winds or even the hail that tore holes in our rhubarb.

Stewart I always enjoyed your parents! Wally and Lynn both gave so much back to the community. Their yard in point mills was beautiful. Lynn taught me how to sew in 4-H. Wonderful people.
