Which previous years of the Pasty Cam are missing in today's review?

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 - 07:55 am:

If we're doing 1998, then that's the only one that I cold see that was missing. If we're doing the 15 years, then I don't think any of them are missing! Did I confuse you yet, lolol!!

Have a great day!
First Post
You are correct, none are missing. The Pasty Cam officially began March 1, 1998, so there was no 1/2/98 photo.

This is why there was no correct answer yesterday. Those who correctly did not list 1998, did not list all the others missing.

The annual model changeover is always a challenge. When the Pasty Cam officially begins year 16 on March 1, we hope to have a new format for these daily visits.

I've been back looking back at the pictures. What's really strange is that the 1999 pictures looks the way the 1998 pictures did last year. So, maybe 1999 is missing and 1998 is in its place. Just wondering.

Anyway, what I came back to ask was if the docks in Rob's picture are left in the lake during the winter, or taken out? Cuz they really look like they're still in the lake. Hmmmmmmm!!

By RCW (Rcw) on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 - 08:17 am:

Deb, that particular dock was replaced with a longer one about 6 or 7 years ago, and Oh yes they stay year round, they weight tons.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 - 08:25 am:

Thanks RCW! Out here everybody takes their docks out of the water. They're probably not built as well as those ones are!

And thanks for the explanation, Charlie. Will be looking forward to the new format in March!

So, is that why the 1999 picture had a different format, because it was like that until March 1?

Good for you, Deb!;)
You're getting trickier in the New Year, eh Charlie? ;>

Hi, Happy New Year to All! And a huge congratulations to the Michigan Tech Huskies for winning the GLI hockey tournament with back-to-back shutouts, first beating U of M, and then Western Michigan! Way to go, guys! This is the first time they have won the whole tournament since 1980, or something like that, when the current coach was a Tech player!
