Over the weekend we had a trace of snow here in the Copper Country. On this day during the Pasty Cam years, when did we see similar conditions?

That would be 2000

We haven't had snow yet but it dropped down to 32F this morning! brrr Guess Winter is gonna be early this year. But wait!, I'm not ready!:<

More beautiful fall photos today! Janie, how is Bob doing? I hope he's doing much better now! My thoughts and prayers are with you both. He'll need to be really careful not to get injured, either on his bike, or in the kitchen with a knife, or whatever, as long as he's on a blood thinner. I got that lecture from my brother when I was on them, while he was before he retired from his oral surgery practice. They had to load me up with Vitamin K one time, when I got a UTI, as that caused a huge bleeding problem. But, he'll be fine; he just needs to be a bit more careful!

Marianne, Bob is home and is feeling great. Goes back to work tomorrow. He will be on blood thinners up to 6 months. When he was released the nurse went over with him about the bleeding issues. You're right, one really has to be careful. He's ok with a "slow down" spell! Ha!

73° one year ago today. Temp right now is 53° in Ontonagon County.

Hunting is going on right now. Partridge seems to be the favorite. Never tried it, gonna have to. The hunters are all over with their bird dogs. "Tis the season".
