In this slideshow, which are the two sunset years?

I'm gonna say 1998 & 2003!!

That fawn was adorable!

Good morning!

I absolutely love Edie's picture. The title was perfect, too. It reminded me so much of my dad fishing the traprock, though he usually just had the boots, and not the whole suit like that. Any time I see a fishing basket I think about him also. So many memories. Thanks to Edie for sharing that one!

Yup, Deb has it; 1998 and 2003.
Good Tuesday morning from San Antonio, TX!!

Nice review today.

Ahoy, Capt., is it as hot in San Antonio as it is in Houston? ;)
Sweltering here in southern Ohio.

By Hollidays (Hollybranches) on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - 05:07 pm:

Just right in Ontonagon, finally. Got much needed rain, the humidity is high but north winds will cool us down to temps of 70s during the day and 50s at night. Perfect.

The Perkins in Houghton is now going to become a Culvers. It wasn't that Perkins wasn't doing good, it was that someone else bought the business and is now competing with McDonalds.

I think I'd rather have a Culver's burger, fries and a chocolate shake than bacon and eggs. :)

I love Culver's, and their strawberry/mango chiller is awesome!! Always wished there was one UP there!

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - 06:14 pm:

The big difference between San Antonio and Houston weather-wise is the dryness; much drier in SA than Houston. Although the temperature is higher, because of the dryness it is more comfortable.

Can't say I've ever been to a Culvers. I always see the one in Rhinelander when we pass through, but never stopped.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - 07:14 pm:

Yes, I know sorta what you mean, Capt., having lived in WY and experienced the hot dryness, but that dryness sure could get cold at night! Never needed an AC.
I've heard of Perkins (have 'em here) and 'Mickey-Ds', of course, but never heard of Culver's. I'll have one of those chillers, Deb!:9

I've never heard of Perkins, but there is a Culver's in Birch Run. Really good for fast food. They have the best crinkle fries, hard to get fries form McDonalds after eating there, but then I don't like McDonalds other food either.

It got up to 94° here in the thumb today. Too hot!
