We're back in the Porcupine Mountains State Park with Jeremy TePaske, looking at two of the waterfalls in this beautiful area.
The first shot is of the Manabezho Falls, which is on the Presque Isle River, actually in the last mile of the river before it reaches Lake Superior and is the largest falls on the river, also. The information I found, says that it's "an easily visited falls and well worth the time."

The second falls is the Manido Falls, which is located just a short distance upstream from the Manabezho and is actually the smallest falls on the river. Because of that, it's not a real impressive falls, but it's width can vary with the amount of water running. In the spring, it can easily run 100 ft. wide, so depending when you visit, you'll get more or less of a show there.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I love waterfalls, so whether it's the biggest one on the Presque Isle River or the smallest one, I think they're all worth making the trek to see. If even just to say you've been there.

Lots of greenery and water which will, hopefully, keep away wildfires!

Janie, took Brimley and Brody for a ride, eh? That is a sweet photo!

Shirley, they go every where with us! Never do we hear them say, "are we there yet?" Great little travelers!

Thanks for the pics today, Jeremy! I love waterfalls everywhere, but those on the Presque Isle definitely rank up there among my faves. I'll be UP there in just 6 weeks for a family reunion and will see those falls and other lovely sights in Gogebic and Ontonagon counties. I can't wait! :)))
