These three youngsters were out playing in the backyard, when their sister, Kyleigh Franklin and their Mom, Krista Poirier looked out the window and spotted them up in the tree. They both went out to investigate, with cameras in hand, only to find that the boys had managed to climb up in the tree just fine, but were actually "stuck" there, not quite sure how to get down, so Kyleigh snapped a shot of them in their predicament. Of course they didn't want any help to get down and finally made it safely to the ground, where they decided that scampering over a fallen tree was a better way to climb around on the trees. Krista snapped those last two shots and said it was so great to have them outside like this, rather than inside playing video games. Nice to see that kids can still have a good time in the Keweenaw, without spending any money to do so. Simple pleasures make great memories, too.

Sure does look like fun!!! It's great to wake up to smiling kids!

The first picture reminds me of the last apples in winter. Nice composition. I always told my two boys they could climb anything they could unclimb. Made for some interesting situations.

Each move in tree-climbing and getting down involves decision-making,skill,and risk. Great activities!

Oh to be a child again! These 3 little fellas look like triplets....wonder? Nice that they have a sis and mom who allow them to possibly get a few bumps and bruises occasionally. Wonderful photos! Thank you, Kyleigh, Krista, and Mary.
