Our trio of photos today, give us a small taste of what kids that live UP North get to experience every day in the great outdoors. We start with a photo from Sally Beaudette, of her grandson helping to feed the deer. Little does he know that there's one just behind him, watching and waiting for him to dump that food. What a great shot!

The next photo is from Laurie Bashaw, with her granddaughter trying to catch as many bubbles as she can in those little hands. The purple thing on the sidewalk is a bubble machine that produces 4000 bubbles a minute. Nothing like the old days of the blowing through the bubble wand yourself or waving the wand to make a few bubbles. Such fun!

The last photo is an Easter Egg tree that we spotted while driving through Bruce Crossing with our grandsons. They wanted to stop and check out the egg tree, so of course Grandma had to snap a picture. The boys were checking out how the eggs were hung, so they can decorate their own Easter Egg tree.

Just a few of the different ways that Yooper kids spend time outdoors. It's nice to see them out getting fresh air and exercise, too. Happy Easter, everyone!

"Good MORNING", The first picture is awsome, look's like a well behaved deer is waiting for their food.

Nice pictures here, today, but what kind of What'sUP is this, this morning?

There was a glitch of some kind during the morning update. It's fixed now.

love the innocence of children! Laurie, your grand daughter is a doll!

Would that be 4000 BPM (bubbles per minute)?

Nice photos, especially the first one. I'll bet the little guy has a name for that deer.

What is he feeding the deer?

Love these pictures. It's so much fun to know who all of these people are. Makes it so much more personal for me. I, too, love the picture of Sally's Grandson feeding the deer, who's waiting patiently behind him. And the patience of Laurie's little Granddaughter, trying to catch all of those bubbles. And I can just imagine how inquisitive Mary's Grandsons must have been, seeing a tree decorated with Easter eggs. As fun as it is to BE a kid, there's nothing like watching them helping, playing, and just learning all they possibly can. Thanks so much for sharing these. It's a great way to start the day.

I LOVE pictures with children and/or animals!! The little 'deer feeder' is really intent on doing it right.:) Love the little girl with the bubbles...wearing the dress and long black stockings and shoes, reminds me of 'long ago' times. And Mary, somehow I knew that those were your grandsons before I even read your note....such fine looking 'little men'
The way we made bubbles when I was a child, was to take an empty (thread) spool, a bar of bathsoap and cup of water. Messy but made neat bubbles.;) Memories.......

Handsome young men and a pretty lil' princess. Fun times...and awesome memories...and ALL with Grandmas and Grandpas! As it should be...Mine were my heroes! The bestest memory will be learning UNCONDITIONAL LOVE too!!!

I'm curious too, Therese, as to what's in the bag for the deer. Sorta looks like sweet potatoes, with my limited vision. My son-in-law buys BIG bags of apples for 'his' deer.

It looks like apples to me...
