In today's review, do you see more red in the even years or the odd years?

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - 06:37 am:

The even years.

Man would have vanished long ago if he had been content to exist in the wilderness of his own dreams.
He was given GROUNDHOG DAY.
He compromised.
He accepted a world of reality.....
a natural, everyday, observable world....
in which he existed.

Good Tuesday Morning!!
It would appear the even years have it...

Good Morning. I agree with Janie, the even years have the most reds, although there are a couple odd years with gorgeous red sunsets, too. It's hard to believe that today is the last day of January. Where did this month go?

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - 08:02 am:

Good morning!! Way to go, Janie & Capt!!!

I do so love the last day of the month. I always know I'm going to start my day with some of the most beautiful pictures possible!

Thanks, pasty!!

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - 08:08 am:

Thanks Deb! I agree starting the day with beautiful pictures brings on calm feeling, something nobody can have enough of!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - 08:15 am:

Yes! I like getting on here early, before some of the other stuff starts. It's so peaceful on here in the mornings, just the beautiful pictures to start our days off on the right track!

By Tom (Tom) on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - 10:23 am:

Charlie sure is getting tricky with his questions.
Makes one look carefully at each.
Pretty soon I am going to set up my computer near my bed so that I can check Pasty Central early in the morning. One of these days----------
Nice commentary on those who passed.

UC, Gormfrog said it all, especially this part;

He compromised.
He accepted a world of reality.....
a natural, everyday, observable world....
in which he existed.

Wish we could all live by those words.

I see pictures taken by Roger Kangas. Is he from Mohawk by any chance.

As a boy and when staying at my Grandparents in Mohawk I met and knew a boy by the same name.
