Yaaaahoooooooooo, it's -2 degrees here in Indiana, this morning. I love the cold weather...it's so crisp and energizing. I got used to the cold weather from all those years in law enforcement and used to get teased for wearing my short sleeved uniform shirt clear into the winter months, with no jacket during traffic stops (it was too much of a hassle to open the back door of the squad car to grab my coat).

Hello from Clearwater, Florida. It's in the low 50's this morning. Yep, the heat is on.

Charlie, you need to give us the update this week regarding Still Water's. We all want to help if we can.

PEWABIC ALL SCHOOL REUNION:

Did you attend the old Pewabic School? If so, on Saturday, August 6, 2005, at the Quincy FireHall, there will be an informal reunion of ALL who attended the school. Right now the goal is to create a guest list of people we can contact about the event. Your part in this is to send along an e-mail to:
hmchamber@webtv.net (Helen Aittama Chamberlain), with names and addresses, if you have any, of others you remember who attended the school when you did.

THANKS, and really looking forward to seeing you at the Pewabic School reunion.

By NKR Mishawaka IN on Monday, January 17, 2005 - 05:48 pm:

Hello from Mishawaka IN. Did anyone check out the blast from the past. Oh my gosh that made me cold. Its 9° here with a little lake effect snow off and on. Bye the way sur5er, thanks for the map to Stevensville Big Boy. I probably won't make that trip until it gets a little closer to spring. I can actually see the bridge today. Stay warm everyone.

By sur5er, Indiana on Monday, January 17, 2005 - 07:45 pm:

You're welcome NKR, enjoy your run to the border ;) Also, I believe that one of the state parks is off that same exit for Big Boys. So if the weather is nice and warm, you can get your order to go and take a drive over to the park and have it lakeside.

Still cold here folks...we had a heat wave of 4 degrees. Chatted with a friend/officer from Hope MN PD...and temps there were 1 degree, and getting colder. Heard that it was -54 degrees in Embarrass MN, today.

Yooper, I give your smiley a 10 on that dive :)
