By Former Fulton Resident (Dashamo) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 07:01 am:

Paul, According to a post on yesterday's What's Up page, it's the ARNCO.

By Former Fulton Resident (Dashamo) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 07:02 am:

Oops!!! Make that ARMCO. Eyes aren't focused yet this morning. LOL

By Margaret, Amarillo TX (Margaret) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 07:09 am:

By Sunrise Side MI (Ilovelucy2) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 07:10 am:

That terrific wind yesterday piled all the oak leaves in corners and up against the fence. Now if we would get a nice warm? day, I can get them picked up.... If not, its a MAJOR job in the Spring!
Everyone have a Great Week!!!

By Julwisc (Julwisc) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 08:16 am:

We ate our very first pasty meal from Pasty Central this weekend! Yum Yum!!! Thanks!

By allen philley (Allen) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 08:21 am:

Thanks Ken, for the information about the birds.

By allen philley (Allen) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 08:28 am:

It would be fun to see the ARMCO pass the lift bridge.

By JH (Thumbgardener) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 09:01 am:

I don't think the bridge cam got the picture, but I just watched the boat go through on the Michigan Tech cam. How cool!

By FRNash/PHX, AZ (Frnash) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 10:14 am:

There's at least one picture of the ARMCO at the coal dock on John Dee's Snow Central this morning: Freighter anchored in Portage Lake

Good morning everyone :) Temp in the house is 64 degrees...still holding out on turning on the furnance ;)

ILoveLucy...whatcha doing raking the leaves? I just mow over them, and they make great mulch for the lawn. Or, if you want, you can always attach the grass clipping bag to your mower and collect the leaves as you mow. ;)

By Steve Haagen (Radsrh) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 01:10 pm:

If you check the Daily Mining Gazette online today they have a story and picture of the ARMCO by the coal dock.

By PAUL (Pungvait) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 01:14 pm:

i heard the MIDDLETON was in the Portage, also

By Sunrise Side MI (Ilovelucy2) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 05:17 pm:

Sur5ver, You should see the leaves here!!!! Oak leaves do not decompose well. Luckily the winds yesterday put them in piles. I did some burning, (which I don't like to do) but have millions and millions left... Not going to be able to beat the rain!!!!!!

By Uncle Chuck @ Little Betsy (Unclechuck) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 09:43 pm:

Betsy update, The pork roast was done in a small roaster oven, today chef Doug had homemade vegetable and Turkey soup for lunch, tonight we had prime rib, there's not another hunting camp in Mich. that eats as well as we do. Tomorrow's the day, the trucks and guns are ready, we'll probably go hunt by Gratiot lake, we have to keep Marty dry, Ben from shooting his foot off, Mike from getting lost, grampa Norm from keeping the cabin too warm, and the chef out of the bake goods. next update, tomorrow. Regards, UC

By Ken ja Mimi from da UP (Kenjamimi) on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 11:38 pm:

Let's keep all those hunters in our prayers for a SAFE and successful season! I don't go anymore. The last license I bought was in '82. Good luck, hunters!
