Thanks, Cindy, for your help. Got a phone # for Dave Sutinen from another reader. Tried it, but no luck, phones must be down due to hurricane. Dave and I were friends in the 50's....believe he entered the Army in the late 50's and was stationed in Panama. Will keep trying that phone #.

At 2:30 est, it looks as though the Eagleharbor Cam has a little friend walking over the lens!

The wind is gusting up to 45 mph. here in the Knoxville TN.area,and power is out to some.

Once, when we were traveling to Keweenaw, all the way from south east Mich, she became bored. So she sat in the passenger seat up front, and entertained me with all these different doo she created...every few minutes it was a different doo and different impersonation. Her favorite of course was the Cousin It look that you are sporting...only she would wave to passing cars, who would of course take a double look at her and her doo.

Allright, now this is getting ridiculous.
Gas "down here" (The LP) has just went to $2.99 a gallon in places.

Passed a Clark gas station around 3:30 this afternoon on Rochester Rd. and South Blvd. in Troy. Regular was selling for $3.09 and premium was $3.29. Needless to say, only one vehicle was filling up.

Don't look to too many people traveling for the
Labor Day Weekend. I cancelled my trip to the U.P.
and I looked forward to the trip so very much.
At 3.09 and 3.29 a gallon will have to put off my
trip until next Spring. If gas is high then, I'll
catch the Greyhound Bus.

Dave,Coryton,Tn. It has quieted down here now but last night and today we had pretty strong winds and heavy rain. My patio umbrella blew out of its holder and my neighbor had some vinyl siding blow off. Another neighbor had a large branch break off of an old oak tree in her front yard. I sure wouldn't want to live any closer to the gulf.

Eyes were leaking this morning after watching ABC Morning Show hurricane stuff. Walked to work in a stiff breeze which made the eyes water anyway so I could sniff. Fran, was thinking about you
also hoping your part of Georgia wasn't going to
be hit too hard. Glad all is okay. After work,
hit the gas pump at $2.50 because word was out that it jumps tomorrow (Wednesday). Take care,all.
