In today's review, in which years do you see tires?

Too late to get the bird. Maybe I could just get a "d".

I would love to have the barn in the 2010 picture! Fill it full with miniature horses and hay!

Nice variety of pictures today, some very colorful and some not. Love that!! Shows you how the leaves start changing at different times every year. Especially love Judy's, Rose's and Charlie's shots.

Thanks for the great slideshow this morning!

The 2005 road signs picture with the caption "Go this way" reminds me of a story my friend retired Pastor Dr. Wendell Hakala told me about a logging road sign seen in the woods of Minnesota many years ago. Side roads then were often not marked with signs, but at one location a main road had a side road that led to a lumber camp and it was marked with a somewhat crude sign that said "Kotissvay", apparently for the benefit of lumberjacks looking for work.

It's been a rainy last few days. Still haven't gotten as much as we should have. At least the fire danger is down to "Moderate".

Speaking of fire danger; the Minnesota fire is still blazing. Can't believe it hasn't been on the news.

Hunting season has started, a sure sign of fall.

The vacationers are slowly moving back in to see the painting of the landscape. Should be a good show.

Raining here also. Had a thunderstorm one day this week. Can't remember which. Used to like seeing the lightning come across the lake when I lived in Hubbell.

We had a little rain here this evening as well, but we weren't here to see it. We were at the Houston Gem and Mineral Society meeting where Nat gave the presentation tonight on "Mining in the Ancient World". Very good program.....

Theresa: I have been following the black bears in Ely, MN also. The sad confirmation of your posting from the other day came tonight. :(
