I remember we took that picture of Casey after she had a hair cut. Look likes she feels a little naked.

A bit of triva... Casey was our second family dog. The first was named Babe.

Good morning! Dan's and Robert's pictures are totally awesome. I remember seeing them in years past and they still hold the same attraction for me. Thanks for the great shots!

Have a great day!!

70 YEARS MARRIED
CHARLES & JOYCE HART said their vows of marriage SEVENTY YEARS AGO TODAY in Silvis, Ill. The bride and groom had met in the U.P.at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp in Eagle River where Joyce's father, John Rader, was director, and Charles came as music director in 1937. Joyce had just turned 16 and Charles, at 22, was willing to wait three years for her hand in marriage on June 22, 1940. It has been a marriage made in heaven, a perfect match, a unique model of a lasting & loving partnership. They still have stars in their eyes for each other. God bless you, Mom & Dad!

Wow, Happy Anniversary to Charles and Joyce! 22 and 16 years old...I bet Joyce's father had his shotgun loaded during that courtship :)

By LoisHart (Lhart) on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 - 01:27 pm:

Actually the two men became as close as any father and son-in-law can be, and the parents were all for it! Much of the courtship was over the miles via correspondence. But they both knew immediately that first year that "this was it".
A fairy tale love story.

Casey looks like she was a good old girl. She's at the Rainbow Bridge having the time of her life having fun with Babe. They're up there playing baseball. Casey and Babe playing ball. So sad they have to leave us. Man's best friend.

70 yrs. of marriage, that is really remarkable! Congratulations! They have truly been blessed! I'm almost half way there with our 34th coming up in September.
