Tuesday's Pasty Cam was just a bit delayed

Morning - it is 32 degrees here in Evergreen, can't wait until I am in the balmy U.P.on Friday!

England seems to be changing their opinion about man made globel warming according to the New York Times.

Dr. Nate and her associate's must have instilled some common sense into their thinking at the meeting over there.......

Many of you may remember Lily the bear,(The den cam bear out of Ely, MN) she gave birth this past spring. She may have lost her cub Hope over the past weekend. Please read the whole story on www.bear.org and click on the Lily and Hope. It does not sound very promising. Many of of us were very exciting to catch a view of the little one with mom and enjoy their interaction. I remembered many of us chatting about it and I thought I pass the news on. It was on the Channel 6 noon show today. (Duluth, MN). Its rather sad, but that is nature's way.

I read Lily's sad story on WDIO's website. I hope they reunite mom and baby soon.

News update on Hope and Lily, The channel 10 news at 5, (Duluth, MN) just got a report that Hope may have been spotted and a crew from the Bear Center I believe are checking into it. Let's 'hope' its Hope. (I couldn't resist)

I just checked the website and everything still sounds so grim. Please, those who see the Duluth news, keep us up to date. I know nature is cruel but I just can't stand it if Hope is gone.
