Deadliest Catch fans, myself included, I just heard on the radio that Capt. Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie has passed away from complications of a stroke. He was 53.

I read that early this morning when I woke up.

It amazes me taht his death got to me. Of course, never met the man but, it still got to me.;O(

I was sadden to hear this morning on GMA that Capt'n Phil Harris past away. I, like many of you out there, enjoyed watching and listening to Phil on Deadliest Catch. I think in many ways he characterized a man's true love of the sea, the boat, fishing, and of course his love of his two boys. He always worried about their future. I think in a strange way, we all could relate to him and envied him to a certain degree. He was a good man.

Sad news, I too enjoyed watching the program and Capt. Phil, he was one of my favorites on the program. Hope his boys carry on the family tradition!

So, did anyone feel the earthquake that shook northern Illinois this morning???

One friend said she was taking a shower and the glass was shaking. Another friend said it sounded like a semi hit the side of his house. What's going on?????
