On this day, in which year did Pasty Cam viewers see a bicycle riding deer hunter?

This may be one of the most famous pictures on Pasty Cam!

Have a blessed day everyone!

A bike for a buck has new meaning here. Happy Friday to all you fellow Yoopers and Yooper wannabees. I'm off today to do a craft show with my daughter. Wish us luck.

Cindy have a fun day! 'Tis the season for craft shows!

The picture of the man carrying the buck was taken in my home town of Kingsford, Michigan. The building in the background is the Michigan National Guard Armory. When I was in high school, we would have school dances at the armory.
Have a wonderful fall day!

Regarding the picture of the man on the bicycle carrying a deer, he doesn't appear to have a rifle or other long gun with which he killed the deer. Did he use a handgun (concealed under his coat)? Did he kill the deer with his bare hands? Did he scare it to death? Was it road-kill? I have seen road-kill deer that showed no damage (at least on one side), like the deer in the picture. This picture and some imagination will provide an interesting story to tell my grandchildren! First, I probably will have to tell them it was not Bambi, they might not notice the deer has no antlers...LOL

At least the guy did not hit the deer with his bike. It is a funny picture.

It is truly amazing how much stuff you have when it is time to move, but, it is also a good time to clean out. ;O)

I don't think the deer is dead. I think it is a family pet that is just too lazy to walk.

By Dale Beitz (Dbeitz) on Friday, November 20, 2009 - 01:44 pm:

Nah, the bike comes apart James Bond style. The seat becomes the stock of the gun, the seat pipe becomes the rifle barrel, the scope is one side of the handlebar grip and the bullet magazine is the other grip.

As usual, good, great, and wonderful photos.

Well- in regards to the wounded goose of yesterday-turns out the Humane Society cannot take it in because they are not licensed to care for wild birds. However- one very nice DNR officer came to the school and made a valiant effort to capture the goose-but it kept flying away from him. Yes- it can fly- but has a broken leg and spends most of its time sitting alone on the field. The officer said it is a very smart critter as it remains in the large fenced in area -safe from predators. We have noticed that it seems to be getting stronger and stands on one leg for short periods now.Hopefully it will be strong enough to survive the winter!
