On the highway that appeared on this day, what U.P. town was the Pasty Cam entering?

Today's favorite...it's a toss-up between 2002 and 2007.

By Marsha, Genesee/Aura (Marsha) on Saturday, November 7, 2009 - 08:24 am:

My personal favorite is 2007, then 2002. Has nothing to do with the photog's ability; I just like both pics!

Time to get ready for the annual raking of the leaves, which should not be to hard. You see, down here in Metro-Land where the sun shines everyday, the leaves fall from the trees and land in perfect little piles on the ground. Then the squirrels come by and help place the leaves in bags. After that, the birds pick up the bags and fly them out to the curb-side.
Now, is anyone interested in a nice bridge that I have for sale in Northern Michigan?

By kay Moore (Mskatie) on Saturday, November 7, 2009 - 10:06 am:

Alex you are such you are such a smart ash! Good thing you have those squirrels so well trained hey!? And those birds! We used to just let the fall winds blow the leaves into the neighbors' yards or over into the corn stubble in the nearby harvested cornfields. Not much trees here at the senior complex. Hope everyone is free to go outdoors today and soak up the glorious warmth and sunshine!!!

Recognized that view of Munising right away! One of my favorite towns in the UP. Right up there with Grand Marais.

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Saturday, November 7, 2009 - 10:17 am:

What a BEAUTIFUL day! I almost wish I had some leaves to rake today. Maybe I'll head to Alex's to help out with his leaves. We never had to rake leaves when I was a kid because we only had evergreen trees in our yard. Raking leaves is Mother Nature's way of getting us outside to do some exercise...Mother does know best.
