The Prom is a special night in High School life and Kassy Beaudoin was on hand at Lake Linden-Hubbell School's to capture some candid shots. The little people in the first photo are Kassy's daughter, Abby and Bode Brinkman. These lucky little youngsters got to go to the Prom about 10 years early, since they were the crown bearers for the evening. They're both so intent, as they wait for the King and Queen to be announced.

Kassy snapped a picture of the dancing fun that both her daughters enjoyed. That's Lauren Audette, dancing with Abby and Renee Belanger, getting ready to twirl Haley around. All that work bearing crowns and dancing up a storm, made for one tired little girl at the end of the night, so Kassy grabbed a final shot of a tuckered out Abby, still shining in her fancy attire.

Good morning, The good looking lady in the black dress in the first picture,holding the flowers is my cousin Laurie, and the other good looking young lady with the cell phone (of course) is her daughter Jordyn. It looks like everyone had a good time.Thank you Kassy for the very nice pictures.

Nice pictures today, brings back many memories for an old LLHHS grad..The schools in our area are so large (1,100 students)that some of the churches hold a singles prom nite..Our granddaughters 13-14 went last evening in Trenton..First they had to get to the mall for dresses, hairdo and new finger nails. No boy-girl commitments and a good time was had by all.

Great time for year for high school seniors! But
the cost is out of site for both the guy and girl.
We've had kids picked up in Hummer limos, and
after the dance go to downtown Chicago and get
home "sometime" the next day. Glad I don't have to
worry about that anymore!

My daughter, who is a junior this year, is heading to the prom this evening with a bunch of girlfriends. She is going on the very cheap. Her dress is a retro hand-me-down and her hot silver high-heeled slingbacks are from the second-hand store. She did her hair herself and it looks very cool. They're not spending money on flowers so they can have a nice meal. I think it's cool that you don't need a date to go to the prom anymore (since the guys don't like to dance anyway).
