The first shot in today's decade review reminded me of our 'webcam' of Eagle River Falls. Still running after all these years:

When you look at the picture for 2007, can you feel the emotion captured there? You read the words and then you think of the ones who sent it and the ones who received it. In your mind's eye you see the tears of joy as that message was delivered to the hands of waiting friends and family. Very moving......

I was on hold with the IRS yesterday for the better part of three hours trying to get MY money back from them. They had denied my child tax credit for some reason. Turned out they were wrong and I am getting the rest of MY return. Anyway, the music on hold at the IRS is from the ballet The Nutcracker. Isn't that an appropriate song for the IRS....The NUTCRACKER! I thought it was pretty ironic.
