How much was unleaded gas in Ontonagon in 1999?

It's a little fuzzy, or maybe my eyes are a little fuzzy, but it looks like 99.9

Wow, I remember that brief period when we had 99 cent gas. I remember filling up my car every day -- just a gallon at most -- because I knew it wouldn't last!

Anyone know where that giant mine rock pile is? It doesn't look like anything I know of in the Keweenaw!
