Has anyone ever took a picture and, a perfect, round, sphere or circle or whatever you wish to call it shows up on the picture?

We were out and about and taking pictures of different things and we stopped in front of a funeral home and they had two lighposts in the front decorated so cute for Chrismas. I just got the pictures developed today and in one of the pictures, of the lightpost, was a perfect, round, sphere of light. It was not snowing and I took the picture from inside the truck. It is not smoke. It is a perfect-round-sphere of light. It was still daylight, too.

Mickill ~ Perhaps it is an orb.
Here's a "google" search page with a number of pages about orbs, including images, too. A few friends of mine and I, have discussed and exchanged photos with orbs...very interesting!

Most likely it is a reflection of the light from the lightpost in the camera lens. If you have a large lens on the camera, you have a better chance of it happening. can you post the picture??

no large lens, it is a Cannon, 10 mega pixels, 4 x optical zoom.

no large lens, it is a Cannon, 10 mega pixels, 4 x optical zoom and I did not zoom in on the picture either.

I Thank You FRNash, but I need someone to actually show me how to post a picture. I will figure out a way to get the picture posted.

Mickill, you mentioned that you took the photo from inside your truck; any chance that you took the photo through the window glass?? Depending on what lens you have and whether the glass is tempered or tinted, one can get some very odd effects shooting through glass....

The truck window was down and I even, as always, pulled the rear view mirror in before I took the picture.

The camera is just a Cannon, powershot A1000IS, 10 megapixels, 4x optical zoom.

cannon zoom lens 4xis 6.2-24.8mm 1.2.7.5.6

I did not use the zoom when I took the picture. I have got to figure out a way to post this picture. I think I know a way.

The first picture I used the zoom and the second picture I did not use the zoom. Took the pictures from sitting inside the truck.
