What's the name of the comic strip that originated from the Pickle Barrel House?

Wtg Deb and good morning everyone. My younger son made close to UP there, was in Duluth for hockey between UM-D and Western Mich. Although we lost 6-5 in OT, goalie had a 50 save night. GO BRONCOS !!!

AUTUMN

You breathe tranquility;
but there is a strange tremor
in the soul.

Could it be that with the leaves falling we can see Winter just down the road?

Was called away and now I'm back!

Body boarding in Superior in October??? Gutsy!

The 2006 picture was my background for a very long time. Still one of my favorite pictures. Now I have one from my own gallery, though. It's a picture of a freighter going under the Big Mac. I love it!

Have a great day everybody!

Hi from Mishawaka, IN. The bodyboarding picture reminds of the picture we took Sept. 30th of surf boarders in Marquette. We sat in the van and watched them for at least an hour. I would have been frozen doing it.

I am going to get my pictures developed from our ride yesterday. We went down this one country road and Bill spotted a big old tree with a mushroom type fungi growing on it. The 'growth' was between 2 big- knot holes- on the tree. I am not quite use to the digital camera, so I am always amazed if the pictures turn out. Had fun yesterday.;O)))

I expected Ed to respond to the picture of the snowshoe by now, maybe he's out of town. Anyway, the person in the picture is Art Chaput, who assisted in the endeavor.

By Michael Du Long (Mikie) on Sunday, October 19, 2008 - 05:10 pm:

I used to live across the street from the Chaputs. When I go home it seems that Art is the only one who still lives there that I know.
