Michael Keranen supplies us with several fall water photos today, but the locations are not disclosed. That means you can use your imagination and pretend they're wherever you want them to be. Unless of course you recognize where they are taken and want to tell the rest of us, too. No matter the location and even with the majority of the leaves on the ground, both scenes are still inviting for the possibilities that await you when you head out to explore in the Keweenaw backwoods. You never know what you'll find or who you'll encounter along your way. So don't just sit there, bundle up for the chill in the air and get out in the great outdoors!

If you're missing the colorful leaves right about now, don't forget you can get your "color" fix by ordering one of E. Neil Harri's new DVD's. You'll enjoy a full color aerial tour of the Keweenaw without leaving your easy chair. For ordering information, click on over to: neilharriphotos.com. You'll be soaring over the Keweenaw before you know it!

I watch my DVD from Neil from time to time. I really love it and his work is so greatly appreciated :O)))
Have a fantastic day.

I had a chance to view Neil's DVD over the weekend and it is great. Good job Dude!
I especially like the way the tour starts at Houghton and travels up the Keweenaw. I drive most of these routes on the Goldwing and after watching, I was ready to ride. Now if I can just figure out how to put wings on the Wing.

We'll cross that river in the 4X4 in a little more than 2 weeks, on the way to that quiet lake just in time to see a 12 pointer thru the scope!

The next aerial color tour DVD is ready for sale. "An Autumn Aerial Tour of S. Houghton and Baraga Counties". I don't have it in area shops yet, but it will be available in a couple of days. It is available online on my website. neilharriphotos.com.

This one has 150 photos and covers South Houghton and Baraga counties. I start at the Portage Canal again but highlight the South side. I fly to the Huron Mountains and take a color tour through the Sturgeon River gorge. The colors were really nice this year and you can see what a lot of the backcountry looks like as well as some populated areas.
The intro and access to still photo gallery is improved and we have new music.

I am now working on the Isle Royale Autumn DVD which should be out next week.

Thanks for all you kind comments and sales.

I will guess the Silver River in Eagle River is todays picture.

Gasoline is $2.09 today here in Wayne county..This would make the round trip to Houghton for us $120.00 cheaper than this past summer.

Wow! I thought it was cheap just now while I was out at lunch here in Lansing....it's $2.39. I'm driving to Detroit to fill up. Hopefully, it will stay low through the holiday season so we can afford to eat and buy a couple of gifts.

I like the creek, would be fun in the summer.

Sounds like my trip downstate in December will be much cheaper. Yay!

I am getting ready to order Neils' new DVD.
Our neighbor stopped by this evening and we played the first DVD for him and we were telling him of all the places we were at as they came up on the picture. He was totally amazed at all the fall colors and Brockway Mt. He said no wonder we liked it so much up there. When Lake Linden came up I told him that was where my mom lived. I love it.
