Now that's one tall cherry tree these guys are picking from. I like the idea of using a bucket truck to get at those bright red berries too. You don't have to worry about the ladder slipping out or losing your footing while you climb the tree. In the second photo, Del Rajala zooms in on the picking action and not only can you see the guys hard at work, but you can see why they wanted to get up high in the branches. They're covered with ripe red cherries everywhere! I hope someone made them a pie for their efforts.

Good morning ! Sweet or tart michigan cherry's, mmmmmm good. Going to the "Kowalski", family renuion today, it's at cousin Duff Stukel's house, in Westland. Next year we will be in the Copper Country.

Men in Trees....isn't there a show called that...it seems that show is trying to be a little like the old show Northern Exposure. I liked Northern Exposure better.

Mohawk, home of my deceased Grandparents. Wish I had a home made cherry pie that my Grandmother used to make useing the cherries from the tree in the back yard.
