That picture of that old car is hanging in a auto repair shop way down here in Cedar Rapids, IA.

In our county, they consider it to be a junk car if there are weeds growing up through the engine. Wonder what they'd say if they saw this!

I'll second Brooke's comments on reaction to the cool picture from 8 years ago today. I did a double-take the first couple of times that I saw the tree growing out of its car pot. :-) That is amazing!

I've heard of determining the age of trees by counting the rings, but not by checking the car vintage.

1950 Chevrolet (possibly 1949, very little differences in those 2 years) Good cars!

Actually if that car had to be removed from there, it would be better to cut the grill out and slide the car out. The tree now is surely worth more then the car!
